Waterberg Tourism

Kartoza (Pty) Ltd. was contact by the Waterberg Tourism NPC for a Tourism Map Project. The goal was to create user-friendly, innovative, and technically advanced maps for tourists in the Waterberg area, including a district map, town information maps, and route maps.

The project was divided into multiple phases to create a district map, town information maps, and route maps, as well as a web version of the district map. After maps were generated, Kartoza provided ongoing support and maintenance.

Kartoza did pro bono work to create the maps. These maps were generate in specifies sizes for the maps, such as A0 and A2 (as well as later a map to fit an entire wall in a restaurant).
